Shepherd's Department of Music offer free piano lessons for children beginning October 5 ISSUED: 15 September 2009 Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University Department of Music's Community Program in Piano Pedagogy will be offering free piano lessons this fall semester. Approximately 11 students are needed to receive beginning piano instruction from members of Shepherd's Introduction to Piano Pedagogy class. Selected students will receive eight weeks of group and private instruction beginning October 5, culminating with a public concert at the end of the semester. Children between the ages of 8 and 10 with very little or no previous piano experience are being sought. Children slightly older or younger may also be considered.
