Shepherd to sign articulation agreement with Lord Fairfax Community College ISSUED: 15 May 2009 Middletown and Warrenton, Va.--Shepherd University will sign an articulation agreement with Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) which will pave the way for a smooth transfer from LFCC to Shepherd and maximize the number of acceptable transfer credits to LFCC graduates pursuing their bachelor's degrees.
Dr. Suzanne Shipley, president of Shepherd University, and Cheryl Thompson-Stacy, president of LFCC, will participate in a signing ceremony for the LFCC/Shepherd University agreement on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 1:15 p.m. in the atrium at LFCC's Middletown Campus
LFCC students who graduate with an associate degree and have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 are guaranteed admission to the Dual Admission Program at Shepherd University. Students who meet the requirements of the Dual Admission Program will receive a tuition discount. |
