Shepherd University Children's Chorus auditions September 9 ISSUED: 20 July 2009 Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University Children's Chorus will
hold auditions for its second season on Wednesday, September 9, at 6 p.m. in
the Frank Center Theater.
Chorus membership will be comprised of both male and female vocalists
who are currently in grades three-eight. Students in third, fourth, and
fifth grade will audition from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and students in sixth,
seventh, and eighth grade will audition from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Students will
perform their audition on a first-come, first-served basis during the
scheduled audition time. Other audition times may be scheduled with the
consent of director Dr. David Gonzol, associate professor and director of
music education at Shepherd.
The chorus will meet Wednesday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. throughout the
school year. Concerts will be presented on January 13 and May 5, 2010, at
7:30 p.m. in the Frank Center Theater. The tuition fee for the Shepherd
Children's Chorus will be $125 per semester and will include two free family
member admissions to each concert. For additional information about the
