(Shepherd Program Board to host ghost hunter Nov. 9)

Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University Program Board will host ghost hunter Ross Allison on Thursday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in the Student Center, Storer Ballroom. Allison will share the hauntings and paranormal events he has experienced in his years of ghost hunting.

Allison is the founding president of AGHOST, the largest, most active ghost-hunting group in the northwest using scientific methods to study ghosts. The organization has hosted training sessions, expeditions, and investigations into the paranormal for five years. He is well-versed in the study of the paranormal and conducts classes at the college level on such topics as ghostology and psychic development.

Allison has been on television, radio, and in the press on a routine basis concerning ghost hunting. During paranormal investigations he combines high tech equipment with qualified psychics, research, and training for successful results. He uses basic investigative tools such as 35 mm and digital cameras, audio and video recording devices, EMF detectors, and the most advanced computerized surveillance equipment including infrared motion sensor cameras.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Following the presentation, Allison will lead two ghost hunts on East Campus at 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tours are limited to the first 60 people to sign up at the Student Center Information Center.
