4/16/2009--Board of Governors approves the Strategic Plan, "Shepherd University at a Crossroads: Pathways to Becoming a Premier Liberal Arts University."

February 2009--Crossroads Conversations are held with faculty, staff, and selected students to discuss the proposed Strategic Plan.

5/17/2008--Dr. Shipley presided over her first commencement as president of Shepherd University.

4/17/2008--Dr. Shipley makes remarks at the dedication ceremony of the Center for Contemporary Arts (Phase I).

4/6/2008--Dr. Suzanne Shipley is inducted into the Shepherd chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.

1/14/2008--Shelli Dronsfield is named as assistant to the president.

12/13/2007--President Shipley makes remarks at the groundbreaking for the new Wellness Center.

12/4/2007--Stakeholder's Survey Breakfast.

10/26/2007--Inauguration of Dr. Suzanne Shipley as 15th President of Shepherd University, 3:00 p.m., Frank Center Theater.

10/25/2007--Inaugural Events: "Creating the Future," A Lecture by Dr. Stanley O. Ikenberry '56.

9/16/2007--President Shipley and student leaders meet with Senator Jay Rockefeller to hear about the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007.

9/10/2007--President Shipley addresses the Shepherd University Assembly; introduces new University seal; announces a Shepherd stakeholders survey and asks for participation.

6/29/2007--Dr. Shipley officially assumes the presidency of Shepherd University.

6/12/2007--Dr. Shipley makes remarks at the dedication ceremony of Erma Ora Byrd Hall.

2/19/2007--Dr. Shipley is announced as the 15th president of Shepherd University.
