Safety on Campus

With several high-profile incidents of violence on college campuses within the past year, I sent a message in February reminding the Shepherd University community of our emergency response protocol. In that message, I mentioned an emergency sheet that was being developed and distributed to all Shepherd employees. Within the next few days, you will receive this bright orange card that reviews the three steps for reporting campus emergencies. I ask that you please place this card near your office phone. If additional cards are needed for other departmental phones, please contact Rebecca Fishack in my office (876.5107 phone or rfishack@shepherd.edu email). New employees will be given copies of the cards when they complete their I-9 paperwork with the Office of Human Resources.
