CURRICULUM

MedSTEP students would typically major in biology or chemistry and a representative curriculum in science would include:

* Botany/Zoology: Introductory classes plus 3-4 upper division classes.
* Chemistry: One year general chemistry and one year of organic chemistry with labs.
* Biochemistry: One year with labs.
* Physics: One year with labs.
* Mathematics up to Statistics/Epidemiology

Additional Requirements:
* Psychology: Normal and abnormal, one to two classes.
* Philosophy/Ethics: One to two classes.
