Important Information

  • The remaining 40 percent payment for students who entered the 60/40 payment plan to pay for the fall semester is due September 29. A reminder invoice will be mailed by the Cashier's Office on September 2.
  • If students still need financial assistance, it is not too late to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2008-09 at www.fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for federal grants and loans.
  • Students awarded Federal Work Study as part of their financial aid package need to apply for employment at http://www.shepherd.edu/afweb/student_employment/ by September 12. If they need assistance, they should contact Marian Willauer, student employment coordinator, in the Human Resources Office at 876-5381.
  • Financial aid recipients who withdraw on or before October 21, 2008, will owe a portion of their financial aid back to the federal and/or state programs. The institution will repay their debt for them so that they can enroll the next term; however, they will owe Shepherd University.
