Award Notifications for 2007-2008 We began mailing financial aid award notifications for 2007-2008 to eligible students on April 5th. Students will have 15 days to determine whether to accept or decline the offers of assistance. They can do so by returning a paper notification statement or completing their decisions online through RAIL. A total of 1659 students were packaged in the first round, 605 of which were new, transfer or readmitted students. Packages consisted of federal and institutional financial aid. The largest state programs, Higher Education Grant and Promise Scholarship, will be making their awards any day now and will be incorporated into students' packages as soon as we are notified by the Higher Education Learning Commission. Students will then receive a revised package notification. Students are also encouraged to check their financial aid status online through their RAIL account. |
