Federal Changes for 2007-2008

  • The maximum Federal Pell Grant has increased to $4,310; the minimum award remains $400.

  • The interest rate on new Stafford loans made after July 1, 2007 will be 6.12 percent.

  • The freshman loan limit was increased to $3,500.

  • The sophomore loan limit was increased to $4,500.
