Spring 2007 Open House Article There's never a dull moment in the Office of Admissions! Over the course of our Fall Open House Series we hosted over 950 prospective students and their families. The overall consensus from our parent and student evaluations reflects a positive, informative experience. Some notable quotes include: "I think it was an awesome experience. It was beneficial, no doubt. Kudos to the Power Point designer. They seemed to know what they were talking about." "I enjoyed that the President answered all the questions of the group and the speaker was pleasant." "Faculty was interesting and spot on with a student friendly presentation. I was impressed." The Open House Series is a tremendous team effort and we are grateful for all of the time and energy put in by staff, faculty, and our current Student Ambassador Association. Thank you all for making Shepherd University such an excellent and accessible environment for higher education! Let's do it all again, shall we? Please go ahead and mark your calendars for our Spring Open House Series. Save the dates for: As we move closer to these dates keep an eye out for more information and requests for participation. It has been a pleasure coordinating these efforts for the fall and I look forward to working with everyone again come spring.
