College Goal Sunday to be held at Shepherd University College Goal Sunday is a nationwide outreach initiative which provides an opportunity for students and families to receive FREE, confidential support in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The fourth annual College Goal Sunday event in West Virginia will be on Sunday, February 10. Shepherd University was selected as one of 23 locations around the state to host this event. Financial aid experts along with other volunteers will be available in White Hall, from 1 to 4 p.m. A representative from the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is scheduled to attend the Shepherd event that will help prepare tax returns for students and families if needed prior to completing the FAFSA.
