There's a lot of excitement ahead of us as Shepherd continues down its pathway toward becoming a premier public liberal arts university, and as West Virginia's only member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC). As our reputation continues to strengthen, we are reaching beyond our immediate borders. During the summer, Shepherd University finalized partnerships with Montgomery College and Northern Virginia Community College systems to provide a pathway for transfer students on their journey toward a four-year degree at Shepherd. All institutions are committed to creating a seamless pathway of programs and services for students. Together, these partnerships can foster even greater degree completion for Montgomery College and Northern Virginia Community College students. With these partnerships, Shepherd is now able to serve 14 community college campuses across West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. We are quickly becoming the transfer university of choice. To view the specifics of each program, please visit: http://unexpected.shepherd.edu/admweb/unexpected/apply.html. As an employee of Shepherd and your colleague, I am proud to be part of such an inspirational and respected institution. We truly are admired by many and it is the people, the employees like you, that are the secret ingredients in our success. Thank you for your commitment, and I look forward to continued collaboration with you in the very near future.
