College Goal Sunday to be held at Shepherd University College Goal Sunday is a nationwide outreach initiative, funded by the YMCA, which seeks to provide information about, and access to, federal financial aid to students of underserved and underrepresented populations. The second annual College Goal Sunday event in West Virginia will be on Sunday, February 13, 2011. Shepherd University was selected as one of 18 locations around the state to host this event. Financial aid experts along with other partners will be available in White Hall, Rooms 204 and 209 from 1-4 p.m. to offer information and assistance in submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) free of charge to students and families. |
