Director Named President of WVASFAA

The staff in the Office of Financial Aid would like to congratulate director Sandra K. Oerly-Bennett on her most recent achievement. Sandra was elected as president of the West Virginia Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators (WVASFAA) for the 2009-10 year, beginning November 1, 2009. In addition to her newest role as president, Sandra has served as a state trainer and newsletter editor during her 16-year WVASFAA membership. She has also served as the chair of the archive, awards, and membership committees, as well as being co-chair of the program conference committee. Sandra is also serving on the executive council for the Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) which is Shepherd's regional association. Congratulations Sandra; you make us proud!
