DEPARTMENT FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS AND ENGINEERING
Computer Science: This comprehensive program provides students with the concepts and skills necessary to develop and manage state-of-the-art computer systems. The interdisciplinary nature of the program reflects the importance of computer and information sciences in virtually every kind of organization. Graduates of the program will be prepared to apply their knowledge professionally and to pursue graduate training.

Mathematics: The purposes of mathematics are to lead students to a grasp of the beauty and power of mathematical ideas; to prepare the prospective teacher to teach creatively; to furnish mathematical tools necessary for other disciplines; and to help provide vocational direction when needed.

Engineering: Engineering courses are open only to students admitted to the Engineering Transfer Program, unless permission is obtained from the director of engineering.
