SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg have signed two new articulation agreements that will allow students to seamlessly transfer from Blue Ridge into programs at Shepherd.

Dr. Sylvia Manning, interim president of Shepherd, and Dr. Pete Checkovich, president of Blue Ridge, met on December 17 at Blue Ridge to sign the agreements. They will allow Blue Ridge students to transfer from Blue Ridge’s associate of arts in liberal arts program directly into Shepherd’s Regents bachelor of arts degree program and bachelor of arts degree program with a major in history without losing any college credits.

This is the eighth shared transfer agreement the two institutions have signed.
