CEN
Collegiate Environmental Network:
The idea behind the West Virginia CEN is to make a central hub for all West Virginia campus organizations to monitor state wide College / University policies on environmental issues. The CEN is in the process of being formed. If you would like to look at a working copy of the CEN constitution then go to CEN Constitution
The CEN Bulletin Board is used as a tool for WV environmental groups to communicate over long distances. Colleges and their respective organizations currently involved in the creation of the CEN are Marshall University, Marshall Environmental Student Association (MESA), Fairmont State College, Students Acting Together in Natures Defense (STAND), West Virginia University, Student Sierra
Coalition (SCC), Glenville State College, as well as
Shepherd University.
Each
member institution elects two senators to attend CEN
functions. For the 2004-2005 school year, Shepherd's
senators are Daniel Chiotos and Brent Rowley. Daniel
is also the VP of CEN for the year.
