ShepOwl

ShepOwl is Shepherd University’s online writing lab. Students can send their papers to scwcweb@shepherd.edu in order to have them critiqued by a tutor and returned.

We try to ensure a 48 hour turnaround, but that isn’t always possible. Please try to submit your papers as early as possible.

Submitting Your Paper
There are two ways to submit your paper to ShepOwl. You can send it as an attachment, but due to technical limitations can only accept attachments in Microsoft Word (.doc) format.

If you don’t have Microsft Word on your computer, simply select all of the text of your paper and paste it directly into your email.

Papers received in any other format will be returned.

Tips for Using ShepOwl
In order for a tutor to effectively critique your paper you should provide the following information:
- Your full name
- The name of your class
- Your professor’s name
- Your paper’s due date
- The requirements of the assignment
- The areas where you need help the most (optional)
