Big Ram Little Ram

Big Ram Little Ram (BRLR) is a Shepherd University extension of the Big Brothers Big Sisters. We believe that children can reach a more full potential by interacting with a mature adult in their formative years. The program is designed to help youth of all types, but focuses on helping those of broken families. Our hope is that the interaction between the youth and volunteer will serve to enhance both lives, opening up opportunities and broadening horizons for the rest of their lives.

Big Rams will be expected to spend 2-3 hours twice a month with their Little Ram. The BRLR Planning Committee will organize one activity a month which you don’t have to attend, but is recommended as it will allow you to meet other Big and Little Rams. The activities you choose are up to each pair of Rams. Each Big Ram is contracted for one full school year, running August/September through April/May, however we encourage you to continue your match longer if at all possible.
