For fraternities the minimum cumulative GPA in order to associate with a chapter is 2.75 on a 4.00 scale on all high school course work for new and entering students and a 2.5 on a 4.00 scale on all undergraduate course work for all returning and transfer students at Shepherd. You also must be a current, full-time (12+ credit hours) student registered at Shepherd University.
Each sorority has their own GPA requirements to join their respective organizations, typically for a woman to join a sorority she will have to be at a minimum a second-semester freshman (12 credit hours completed) with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. She also must be a current, full-time (12+ credit hours) student registered at Shepherd University.
The Panhellenic Chapters conduct what is called “Formal Recruitment” every spring semester.
