I am happy to welcome you to the School of Business and Social Sciences, the largest school on the Shepherd campus, and an integral part of the core undergraduate experience! Housed primarily in White Hall, we are home to seven departments, i.e. Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology and Geography. We also offer programs in Anthropology, Criminology, and Family and Consumer Sciences. Together we provide high quality undergraduate education in many core content areas, plus professional studies, and graduate programs in Business Administration and College Student Development and Administration. Our faculty takes pride in teaching excellence and personalized one-on-one advising and mentoring. Our students are well prepared and go on to careers in management, teaching, counseling, government service, and a host of other exciting niches in the private and public sectors.

I am privileged to interact on a daily basis with many multi-talented people...students, staff, faculty, and others. Our faculty and staff bring a dedication to the workplace that is both energizing and gratifying, and I am proud of the scholarly and creative achievements of our students.
