Costs Services

With the exception of special treatment, service costs at the health center are included in the general registration fees. If additional care or attention is needed, the student must pay by using Rambler, check, cash, or other insurance (see below.)

Health Insurance

While individual insurance coverage is not required, supplementary health insurance is strongly encouraged.

Coverage

If the student has personal, dependent (of parent or spouse), or as an employee, the following criteria applies:

• Type of plan: HMO, PPO, indemnity, service, etc.
• Policy provisions/restrictions
• How to file a claim
• What to do in case of an emergency: in particular, be aware of possible coverage issues relative to age, location, in-network vs. out-of-network providers, and pre-authorization requirements/restrictions.

**Make a copy of your insurance card to carry with you**

The Health Center does not promote or support any specific student health associations, but does provide some student insurance information in their facility.
