Jacquelyn Cole, PhD

Biography:

Dr. Cole received her Bachelors of Science from Bethany College, WV, and her Doctorate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY.  She has taught at Shepherd since 2012 following her post-doctoral research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.  Her hobbies include her family, walking and biking on the C&O Canal, and cross stitching.

Research:

Dr. Cole is a bioanalytical chemist who uses analytical techniques to study relevant biological molecules.  Currently she is using LC/MS to quantify contaminants in the Potomac River water.
