9 a.m. The Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies, 213 N. King Street on the campus of Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, will open its rotunda for any member of the campus community and the general public to come by and sign a book of condolences and comments on Senator Byrd's career that will be kept as a permanent part of his archive. The rotunda will be open until 7 p.m., from Monday, June 28 to Friday, July 2.
