SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Phaze 2 Gallery is showing sculptural work by Morgantown artist Jeremy Entwistle. The show will run through Friday, February 17, when a closing reception will take place from 4-6 p.m. Entwistle works in wood fabrication, bronze, aluminum, and iron, among other materials. He also makes furniture.

“My work continues to investigate materials and processes, and how these elements could coalesce in the realm of industry, infrastructure, defense, aesthetics, and abstraction,” Entwistle said in his artist’s statement. “The resulting constructions often loosely reference the figure, as an individual, and as an element within our social structure.”

Phaze 2 Gallery exhibits are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 1-7 p.m. For more information, contact Evan Boggess, adjunct art professor, at eboggess@shepherd.edu.
