Phaze 2 Gallery to offer September 26 residency workshop

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Artists, musicians, writers, and others involved in creative endeavors have the opportunity to learn more about how to apply for residencies during a free workshop at Shepherd University’s Phaze 2 Gallery on Wednesday, September 26, from 4-5:30 p.m.

John Labovitz, director of North Mountain Residency in Hedgesville, will discuss what a residency is, give tips on finding the right residency, and explain how to put together a strong application. He will also talk about how to prepare for a residency and make it a valuable experience.
