Academic Community Outreach to host February 22 dual enrollment information night

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Academic Community Outreach office is hosting a dual enrollment information night for local high school students on Thursday, February 22, at 6:30 p.m. in Erma Ora Byrd Hall. The event is free and light refreshments will be served beginning at 6 p.m. 

Students from Berkeley and Jefferson County high schools and homeschool students who will enter 11th and 12th grade next year and their parents/guardians and relatives are invited to learn how students can earn both college and high school credit at the same time.

Students who are interested in taking dual enrollment classes need to contact their high school counselor at the completion of their sophomore year. The deadline to apply is May 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester.
