SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University will offer a bachelor of arts degree in early education beginning fall semester 2014. The program will provide the appropriate theory and skills for undergraduate students who intend to work in early childhood environments including preschool and kindergarten.
The 120-hour degree program was approved by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and the West Virginia Department of Education.
Generally coursework for the first 60 credits will be offered at the Shepherdstown campus with the second 60 credits offered at Shepherd’s Martinsburg Center which provides many late afternoon and evening classes.
