Joel Ziler Senior Recital

Joel Ziler will be presenting his Senior Voice Recital in the Frank Arts Center Theater on Friday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. The program includes selections from Of Earth and Air and Rain by Gerald Finzi, and from Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler, along with works from the classical and musical theater repertory by W.A. Mozart, Gaetano Donizetti, Reynaldo Hahn, Jay Lerner, Stephen Sondheim and David Yazbek. The event is free and open to the public.

Joel Ziler is the son of Darryl and Melinda Ziler of Berkeley Springs, WV. Throughout his time at Shepherd University Joel has taken part in several ensembles such as Masterworks Chorale, Chamber Singers, Men's Choir, Marching Band, and Wind Ensemble. He has also held lead roles in The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, The Mikado, and Guys and Dolls. Joel has been a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia for three years, two of which were served as a province representative. Upon the completion of his degree Joel plans to pursue a Master's Degree in choral conducting.
