The Ram Band is one of the highlights of Shepherd University. Known for its strong commitment to musical excellence and exciting shows, the Ram Band represents Shepherd excellence to tens of thousands each year throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The band is not limited to music majors and is open to all college students.

Join the 2012 Ram Band on a tour of musical MILESTONES featuring the music of American composers including John Philip Sousa, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, and Chubby Checker. The Field Commanders are Courtney Bullock, Lucas Hogan, and Christina Schirf. The Band Staff includes: Drill Writer Dan Kalantarian, Color Guard Instructor Kathy Windle, Percussion instructor Jonathan Whitney, Marching Techs Lisa Oswald, David Shipley, and Charles Reader and Staff Arranger Frank Mahoney.
