
Jeremy Koch
Jeremy P. Koch has been a member of the United States Air Force Band since 1998 where he has been a featured concerto soloist on numerous occasions. As a freelance saxophonist and teacher in the Washington D.C. area, he regularly presents clinics and recitals throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. as well as performs with The United States Air Force Saxophone Quartet, The Potomac Saxophone Quartet, The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, The Prince William Symphony Orchestra and The Serapis Ensemble. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he was a two-time concerto competition winner. As a teaching assistant, he received a Master of Music Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he performed with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia da Camera, Prairie Ensemble, Tower Saxophone Quartet and Estilo Chicago. A proponent of new music, Jeremy has premiered solo and saxophone quartet works at numerous conferences of the World Saxophone Congress, North American Saxophone Alliance, and the International Saxophone Symposium. His teachers include Debra Richtmeyer, Jonathan Helton, Michael Chesher, and Jean-Marie Londeix at Le Domaine Forget. Jeremy resides in Burke, VA with his wife, Tiffany and children, Caley and Samuel.
