About the Ram Band The Ram Band is one of the highlights of Shepherd University. Known for its strong commitment to musical excellence and its exciting shows, the Ram Band is in great demand throughout the East as an exhibition band for competitions and TOB and USSBA performances. Each year, the band is seen by over 50,000 people. The band is not limited to music majors and is open to all college students. The Band is led on the field by Lisa Oswald and John
Karos. The Band Staff includes
Drill Writer Lee Geissler, Color Guard Instructors Sue Weiss and Janice
Yanosko, Percussion instructor Frank Russo, Percussion arranger Jamie
Hasley, Marching Techs David Shipley and David Franceschina, and
