SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Music Preparatory Division will again offer early childhood music classes for preschoolers. The classes will run on Fridays from September 16-December 2 in the Frank Center, with no classes November 4 and 25. Registration costs $120 and there is a limit of 10 students per class.
Frauke Higgins will teach the classes, which include Musical Discoveries for ages 18 months-three years, with a parent or caregiver, from 9:15-10 a.m. and Music for Preschoolers for ages 3-5 from 10-10:45 a.m. Higgins has a master’s degree in music education and is an experienced early childhood music educator. She has taught classes to young students since 1990.
