SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Music will present a night of Piano Ensemble and Studio Recital under the direction of Dr. Yu-Hsuan Liao on Wednesday, April 11, at 6 p.m. in the Frank Center W. H. Shipley Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
Selections include compositions for piano duets “Peter and the Wolf” with Shepherd music major Mike Simpson as narrator, some duet pieces by composers Erik Satie and Aram Khachaturian, and a duet piece for piano and organ.
