Women's Volleyball was acknowledged for the good job that they have done this season. The team is 5th out of 12 teams and will participate in the tournament in Summersville, WV.
The Women's Soccer club also did well.
Betsy Blose spoke about the Women's Basketball Team. She handed out the new media guides and newspaper clippings about the team members. The team members are involved in community service. Betsy explained the Ram's Hoop Troop program for the younger fans. There are several incentives for the members of Hoop Troop to attend games.
There was a discussion regarding driving the team to and from away games in inclement weather. There didn't seem to be sufficient money to stay overnight or charter a bus. Sharon offered to help Betsy cost out what funds would be needed to hire a driver or stay overnight when weather was not permitting safe travel.
Congratulations to Karen Wempe for her new position in Finance and Administration working with Ed Magee.
The secretary position is to be advertised in Student Affairs. Please alert anyone who may be interested to this position.
Sharon said that the Executive Cabinet has discussed training regarding sexual harassment issues. Marie Carter is reviewing different training needs on campus for future programs.
