Continued concern of contracted employees and if our classified employees are being utilized properly and enough. It was general consensus that, since the Council does not deal with these concerns on the daily basis in which our facilities╣ director does, it was agreed to table further discussion until these concerns could be taken to Dan Yanna
Doris Glenn wishes to express her appreciation to all those who donated days toward catastrophic leave she was awarded.
General consensus that we invite Ed Magee, V-P of Administration and Finance, to our January meeting.
Dan Starliper wished to convey some way of noting our appreciation for the many faculty and non-classified employees who contribute to the Classified Employees Children Scholarship Fund through payroll deductions. It was MSP that we recognize these individuals at the spring College Assembly.
After various concerns dealing with supervisory roles, need for more frequent cleaning of areas in buildings, and utilization of classified employees, it was decided that Anna Mary Walsh would schedule a meeting with Dan Yanna to voice these concerns. Specific complaints will not be listed in the minutes but will be reported to Mr. Yanna.
With no further business, meeting adjourned. Next meeting will be Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. in the Cumberland Room, College Center.
