As a past member of the Multicultural Leadership Team (MLT) at Shepherd University you have significantly influenced the experiences of the students who followed after you. Through team meetings, service hours, and your campus involvement you have made a positive difference at Shepherd. We personally witnessed how you mentored your peers and educated the campus about diversity, social justice, and leadership while you were a student. Your actions raised the community’s consciousness on these topics. As alumni we are confident that you are still making a difference in the lives of those around you.
The MLT has a very long and rich history at Shepherd. As the past and current directors of the MLT we realized we could do a better job of staying in touch with you and linking the past and present. We want to start a new tradition of bringing past MLT members to campus and connecting them with current team members. One way to accomplish this goal is through Homecoming.
We would love for you to come back to Shepherd to visit during Homecoming and attend a reception in your honor on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Please hold this date and make plans to come to campus. We will provide more details soon.
In the mean time, please visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BD6PTSM and complete a quick survey so we learn more about what you have been doing since you graduated.
