MARTINSBURG, WV — Shepherd University’s Martinsburg Center is sponsoring a Financial Literacy College Night Tuesday, March 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the center, 261 Aikens Center.
Presentations include “How Financial Aid Works” by Shepherd’s Office of Financial Aid, “In the Neighborhood for a College Savings Plan?” by State Farm, “SMART 529 College Savings Program,” by United Brokerage Services, Inc., “Identity Theft” by Legal Shield, “Get Smart About Money” by City National Bank, “Manage Now, Coast Later” by MVB Bank, and “Simplify Your Financial Future” by Bank of Charles Town. Limited space is available for other vendors to participate.
Attendees can tour the center and learn about degree programs. Refreshments will be provided. Door prizes include a $250 Shepherd Bookstore gift card given by MVBBank. The event is free and open to the public.
In addition, the center will host a Red Cross Bloodmobile from 1 to 7 p.m.
