SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University has promoted Kristen Lorenz to director of admissions. Lorenz has been an admissions counselor at the university since 2012 and served most recently as senior admissions counselor.
Prior to that she worked in the marketing and customer service industries in Hagerstown, Maryland, and Dillon, Colorado.
Lorenz earned a bachelor of science degree from Shepherd in 2010 in business administration with a concentration in marketing. She is currently working toward her master of business administration at Shepherd.
“We are very lucky to have an internal candidate with the passion and energy that Kristen possesses,” said Shari Payne, vice president for enrollment management. A Shepherd alumna, she has demonstrated a true commitment to helping the university reach its enrollment goals.”
