Little Boy of Kenamond Hall
Legend has it that a little boy of about 8 years old walks the halls of Kenamond Hall turning on and off electronic equipment of the students. The little boy is dressed in period dress with knickers, vest, and driving cap. It is said that the little boy was standing by the construction site of one of the many bridges that were built from Shepherdstown to Sharpsburg. He was waiting at the construction site for his father who was on the River. He would wave at his father and the father would wave back. The little boy then fell into the construction site of the bridge and died.
