LBSC 100 Information Literacy
LBSC 100 is a 1-credit course for any student who desires a general introduction to research and information retrieval, and the use of library materials and resources. LBSC 100 is a hands-on introduction to resources and strategies for locating information. Course content will be coordinated with majors and subjects of academic interest. Topics that will be covered include: the library's online catalog, reference sources, online databases and print indexes, and the use of the Internet for finding information.
This course is an excellent choice for students new to college, as well as non-traditional students who are eager to refresh their research skills.
