Stop and check out the "Ties that Bind", a Shepherd University Student Exhibit, in the Scarborough Library Reading Room from December 3 – January 24. The 20 works in this exhibit are based on the Common Reading for Shepherd University Fall 2013-14: Strange as This Weather Has Been by Ann Pancake.
The Student Library Advisory Board delivered 240 pounds of food to the Jefferson County Food Pantry on November 18th. Way to go SLAB for organizing FOOD for FINES. Thank you everyone for all the food donations and thank you to all the students who brought in food to pay for your library fines. The Scarborough Library and SLAB will continue to fight hunger in our local area by doing FOOD for FINES in spring 2014.
Read Dr. Hively's book "Shepherd Univeristy" and just loved the pictorical history. Well now you can see the original photographs that helped create the book. The display is located in the display case right before you enter the library's Reading Room. This exhibit will run through the Fall semester.
