Through May 9, Scarborough Library is featuring a display of ceramic "Ugly Mugs" made by the fifth graders at Shepherdstown Elementary as part of a unit of study on Appalachian culture and art. This project was funded in full by the Arts and Humanities Alliance of Jefferson County through the Teaching Arts Creatively grant. Come enjoy!
From March 24 through April 14th, the library will accept one non-perishable food item for each dollar you owe in library fines up to $20.00! Bring your canned or packaged food item to the Public Services desk and have your fines reduced. All food will be delivered to the Jefferson County Community Ministries food pantry.

Since the "Little House's" creation during the summers of 1928 and 1929, the house has become a captivating part of Shepherd University's campus.
