  • Image of an Ugly Mug 2015 "Ugly Mugs" Display – Shepherdstown Elementary School

    The 2015 Ugly Mugs from Mrs. Groff's Fifth Grade Class at Shepherdstown Elementary School are on display through May 15! This project, inspired by Appalachian Face Jugs, is funded by the Jefferson Arts Council.

    The Scarborough Library now welcomes the new ASUS Chromebooks to our collection! With a Google account, you can easily access any of your files from anywhere with this laptop! Its lightly-built three pound frame makes it easy to carry around, and a front-facing camera lets you take HD photos of yourself and your friends! You can borrow the Chromebook from the Public Services Desk for up to four hours of use within the library.

  • EBSCOhost Discovery Services Logo Discovery: The Single Search Option!

    "Discovery" provides a Google-like search of the Scarborough Library's catalog and databases allowing you to find what you need from a single search box. For the Spring 2015 semester, "Discovery" will be available in Beta version. Scarborough Library wants to hear about your experience with "Discovery". Please take a moment to complete the Discover Service Survey after searching with "Discovery". You can access the Discover Service Survey here or use the link located in the "Discovery" search box.

  • Front cover of the 1910 Cohongoroota Digital Catalogs and Cohongoroota Yearbooks Now Available

    The library is excited to announce its inaugural digitization project for the Shepherd University Special Collections, an ongoing project that will greatly benefit the students, faculty and alumni of Shepherd University by making historical Shepherd University documents available via the Internet.
