Staff & Faculty
Career services professionals are not the only members of the Shepherd University community to assist students with their career development needs. You play a part to help students in all facets of development and we appreciate your efforts.
Opportunities to partner with Career Services include:
• Be a contact for students interested in conducting major-specific informational interviews. Give students an opportunity to learn about your career field and obtain advice for getting into that particular career.
• Participate in a career panel to educate students about the job search process and offer information about how they can develop necessary skills for a future career.
• Request a presentation about various career-related topics for one of your classes. Such topics may include resume and cover letter writing, interviewing success, general job search techniques, or an overview of what a career services office can offer students.
If you are interested in being part of this valuable resource, contact the Career Development Center at 304.876.5122 or jobweb@shepherd.edu.
