Shepherd University provides each student with personal
space on a server called the "M" drive. This drive is provided
for students to store assignments when using any campus owned computer. When logged on to a computer, go to My Computer to see your "M"
drive.
 If
you receive an error message when trying to save to the "M" drive (cannot
write, cannot create folder or cannot create file to M:), go to My
Computer and right click on the "M" drive. Click on
Properties. The amount of used and free space will be displayed.
It is up to the student to maintain their drive by removing out-dated
files. Delete any files you created which are no longer needed. Use USB drives,
sometimes called thumb, jump or flash drives, and CDRW's to save files on. Discounts can be found @
http://www.journeyed.com/select/. There are files
crucial to the operation of this drive and contain important
information about your account. Please do not delete any files
you are not sure of, for example, the autouser.bat file.
