The Office of Institutional Research coordinates and conducts evaluations for courses taught at Shepherd in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Evaluations are administered in either paper or electronic format, and include both multiple-choice questions and a comments section. Results are tabulated and returned to instructors after the final grades for the courses are due. All written comments are typed up; no handwritten comments are seen by the faculty.
Please note: As of Fall 2011, the guidelines for faculty evaluation have changed. The course evaluation selection process has also changed. The new information is provided on the course evaluation request form sent to each faculty member early in the semester. Questions about the new guidelines should be directed to your dean.
