Graduate studies info day features programs at WVU

Pictured (l. to r.) are Dr. Scott Beard, associate provost and dean of graduate studies; Dr. Laura Gibson, WVU senior associate vice president for research and graduate education; President Mary J.C. Hendrix, and Dr. Joyce McConnell, WVU provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Shepherd hosted a graduate studies information day April 6 featuring programs offered at West Virginia University that are not available at Shepherd.

The event allowed Shepherd students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members see what programs are available at master’s and doctoral levels and learn what they will need to do to prepare for these programs.

Graduate studies information days are planned for the 2017-2018 academic year and will feature Marshall University and Penn State.
