On March 20, 2017, Shepherd University President Mary J.C. Hendrix and the Malian Ambassador to the United States H.E. Tiena Coulibaly signed an agreement formalizing mutual intentions to seek areas of potential exchange, collaboration and partnership between Shepherd University and the Ministry, acting primarily on behalf of University of Bamako.
