Shepherd’s 19th Annual Day of Service took place August 22 when approximately 120 student, staff, and faculty volunteers partnered with local nonprofits. Participating agencies include the Shepherdstown Visitors Center, Shepherdstown Community Club, PurposeFULL Paws, Boys and Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle, Telamon Corporation, Potomac Valley Audubon Society, St. Andrew’s Mountain Community Center, Shepherdstown Day Care, Green Hill African American Cemetery, Burke Street Elementary School in Martinsburg, Berkeley Senior Services, Martinsburg Garden of Promise, Children’s Home Society, Christ Reformed UCC in Shepherdstown, Horses with Hearts, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, and Panhandle Home Health.
